What a wholesale lot comes with.

The same paperwork on a 500 kg lot as on a season contract.

  • One suta grade per lot

Never blended at grading or at packing, so the size you sample is the size you sell on.

  • Certificate of analysis first

Issued before the lot leaves, with a QR code that opens the lot’s verification page.

  • Packed by grade

One grade per bag, sealed, with the lot ID printed on every bag. 250 g packs are available to order for institutional specifications.

  • Photographed twice

Every lot is photographed at intake and again at dispatch, and recorded from the pond cluster to the truck.

Four grades, measured the same way.

Suta is the trade’s size name; the millimetre band is what we measure.

What distributors ask before the first lot.

Do you sell a few kilos to shops or households?

No. We supply trade quantities only: a paid pilot of 100–300 kg, then lots of 500 kg to 2 MT. For smaller amounts a local wholesaler or retailer will serve you better.

Why is the rate quoted per grade instead of one bulk rate?

Much of the trade sells bags priced by volume with sizes mixed together. Larger kernels command higher rates, so a single-grade lot means you pay for the size you actually resell, and your own customers see a consistent product.

Can a distributor get credit terms?

After three lots paid on time, repeat lots can move to 15-day credit. We do not supply on consignment or open credit, and supply pauses while any invoice is overdue.

How is freight to my city worked out?

Popped makhana fills a truck by volume long before it reaches the weight limit, so freight is quoted for each order on volume rather than per tonne.

Can we book supply for the whole season?

Yes, through a season contract: a booked quantity lifted monthly, priced by a formula agreed against a reference rate, with a 25% booking advance and take-or-pay on 70% of the booked quantity.

What if a lot fails our check on arrival?

Tell us within 5 working days of delivery with your readings. We test the retained sample from the same lot; if we still disagree, a second NABL-accredited laboratory settles it. A lot outside the agreed written specification is replaced or credited at invoice value. This covers lab-tested lots, on written terms, with an annual cap.
